Growing up, I had always been involved in sports and had a very athletic childhood. When I reached middle school, and then high school, I had become quite the skinny kid. My family didn’t have a lot of money, and I never wore any of the cool expensive clothes that the popular kids wore, so I was picked on all the time. Then, during my sophomore year of high school, I decided to finally do something about it. I started working out on a consistent basis learning about nutrition, supplementation, and how to train properly. After the next couple of years had passed, my physique changed dramatically. Not only was I now bigger than all of the kids who had previously picked on me, but now they all wanted to be my friend. Now, as the years have passed, my reasons for working out have drastically changed, but what set it all in motion was the insecurity of both myself and the cruel kids in my high school.
